In December, 2014, we had to say goodbye to Max...who lived a wonderful life of service helping in a multitude of ways...he was part of the Renaissance family.

Max was with us for 8 years. He brought calm, a sense of peace always...but he knew how to play hard whenever we went to his Alma Mater, Canine Companions for Independence, in Santa Rosa! Just a few weeks before he left this earth, he was running with a couple of other Labs in their field and play yard. They were TWO years old!! He had them running and he was running as hard as they were. Max was serious about his work...but he knew how to have fun, too.
